The French Mediterranean island is best know for being the Napolean’s birthplace and the rugged GR20 trail that crosses its spine. Even if you are not a hiker it’s quaint seaside towns and beautiful interior are worth a visit.
While principally on the island for the GR20 hike, we spent a few days exploring some of Corsica’s most alluring towns and coastlines.
Let the Journey Begin – Ajaccio
Post includes a visit to the Museé des Beaux-Arts and dinner at a great local restaurant.
Drive from Ajaccio to Bonifacio

My vote for the most stunning town on Corsica.
Sleeping and Dining in Bonifacio
A Lazy Day in Porto Vecchio
Scandola Boat Tour – Porto
