Street Pics from Kathmandu, Nepal

This time our arrival in Kathmandu wasn’t as serene as our first. Compared to Pokhara, Kathmandu is the crazy, congested city everyone says it is. Back at the Ambassador Garden Home, a few more creature comforts – hair dryer, decent internet connection, a nice breakfast on their pleasant patio.

A walk through the old streets of Kathmandu is both exhilarating and a beating. The sights, sound colors and smells lure you down the crowded streets. Step into some of the inner courtyards and you’ll find pockets of tranquility surrounding a temple.

  1. Dang girl, you got another barber photo!! Love the street scenes, I have to say, it looks even more chaotic than India!! Accurate?

  2. The color of the city is so vibrant. Not seen so much reds in one place. The cable pole remind more a modern bird nest! So glad you included the motorbike, I don’t know much about motorbike but really appreciate all its parts showing. Cannot wait for more photos! 🙂

    1. Hi Whisks and Chopsticks, Thanks so much for your comments. This is the last of my photos from Nepal, but I’ll be posting more from Morocco soon.
