On a sparkling sunny day it doesn’t get more quaint than Beynac. One of France’s most beautiful villages, the town spills down the hill side from the castle above to the river below. A charming place to wander the streets and take in the medieval atmosphere.
Chateau de Beynac
The 12th century Chateau de Beynac (open in February) has stunning views of the river valley below and is a fun spin through a medieval castle with a rare example of a traditional kitchen.
