Flamingos, Camargue, France

While they may not be France’s most well known visitors they are certainly some of the most flamboyant. Each winter the pink flamingos return to the Camargue, the wetlands of France in the Rhone river delta known as the Bouches du Rhone. For me it’s a joy to watch these amazing creatures at the regions ornithological park, on the D570 just before you get to Saintes-Maries-de-la-Mer.
