The Prades market fills place de la Republique and spills out along all the surrounding streets every Tuesday and Saturday morning. It’s a local’s market, with few tourists and fewer gourmet type items than Ceret’s popular Saturday market, but does have a lively mix of bargain dry goods, produce and a few specialty stalls such as organic bread, local goat cheese, sausage and olives, and even Asiatic products. The best market in the area to rub elbows with the locals.
