From Ille-sur-Tet, twenty minutes up a windy road (D618) through a rugged valley, is one of the premier sights in the region, the Prieuré de Serrabona. A Romaneque structure famous for its stunning cloisters, albeit interior, in rose marble. The contrast of the stark stone against the intricately carved arches and columns is definitely worth the drive, that is if the striking scenery of les Aspres isn’t allure enough.

Byron, Don’t you know, food is just an excuse to travel, or was that travel is just an excuse to eat. Thanks for the award. I’ll check it out.
